We are seeking a Commercial Technical Lead to join our team at Recipharm’s RTP, NC location. This is an on-site position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent Recipharm as a subject matter expert in inhaled and nasal product development.
- Work closely with the operations, commercial and business teams to provide technical leadership in supporting scope and proposal generation for future customers.
- Interact with prospects and customers and provide technical and certain level of regulatory guidance on the inhaled and nasal dosage form development with a clear stepwise approach.
- Understand customer requests and identify the gaps which Recipharm may have in supporting their needs.
- Review scope and technical elements of the proposal.
- Recommend acquisition of new technology, equipment, and instruments based on information trended from customer requests.
- Provide guidance to the operations team on the solutions to any specific request from the customers.
Required Qualifications:
- S. degree or graduate degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, biological sciences, or related fields.
- 5 years industry experience in pulmonary and/or nasal product development or minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- A thorough understanding of the inhaled and nasal product development cycle, regulatory knowledge, lab analytical methods, formulation and process development knowledge.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively internally as well as externally with customers.
- Self-motivated and well organized with excellent time management abilities.
- Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Regulatory knowledge
- A track record in developing orally inhaled and nasal drug products while maintaining compliance to cGMP
- Recognized skills for ability to develop efficient laboratory operations with robust processes.
- Experience with inhalation and nasal testing equipment enabling advising the customers and operations teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively and effectively in the fast-paced environment of a CDMO.
