The organizers of DDL 2021 have announced that the Drug Delivery to the Lungs meeting will once again take place online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and they have issued a call for papers for the virtual conference. In addition, nominations are now open for the Pat Burnell Young Investigator Award and for the Emerging Scientist Award. The meeting will take place December 8, 9, and 10.
Submit 2-4 page papers for consideration by July 30, 2021 at https://ddl-conference.com/ddl2021-conference-paper-submission-landing-page/. Guidelines for conference papers can be found here. Topics for the 2021 conference are:
- Changing the treatment paradigm in asthma
- The inhaled dose – how much goes where?
- Lessons learnt from treating COVID with therapeutic aerosols
- Targeting the brain and the body via the nose
Applicants for the Pat Burnell Young Investigator Award should also submit a letter from their supervisor supporting the application along with their paper. For the Emerging Scientist Award, applicants will need to submit a 1,000 word essay summarizing their research along with their CV. Find more information and apply here.
