Nephron Pharmaceuticals said that it has hired Rita Boucher as Chief Quality Officer and is promoting Jamie Shuster to Chief Projects Officer and Stephanie Simmonds to Chief Clinical Officer. Boucher previously worked in quality assurance at Pfizer, as Cold Chain Project Manager at Genzyme, and in a number of different roles at AstraZeneca. Shuster has been Nephron’s Senior VP of Quality for the past four years, and Simmonds has been the company’s Chief of Marketing Operations since 2018.
Recently, Nephron announced an expansion of its South Carolina facilities, Earlier this year, the company said that it wanted to add an additional six production lines to eight existing lines to meet increasing demand for its inhalation solution and suspension products due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
