For the most part, exhibitors in the digital exhibition are likely to highlight the same products and services that they planned to show off in California. H&T Presspart, which will present a joint poster with Proveris on “The Effect of Ethanol Concentration on pMDI Evaporation Fraction,” says that it will showcase its range of devices and components, with a special focus on its plasma surface treatment for MDI cans that can enhance drug stability and prevent the active drug content from adhering to the canister wall.
Automated inhaler testing specialist Astech Projects wants to assure customers that the company is continuing to supply equipment and provide support during the pandemic. The company, which supplies automated systems for dose content uniformity and particle size distribution testing, as well as for waste firing, physical device testing, emitted dose weight, and other analyses, plans to highlight its NGI sample preparation system.
Vectura, which is transitioning from a developer of its own inhaled drugs to an inhaled drug CDMO, says that the company is “embracing these new ways of working to support customers in their vital role of bringing essential inhaled medicines to market.” As a Platinum sponsor, the company will be presenting a seminar titled “From Feasibility to Final Product” in addition to several posters and its digital table.
In addition to promoting its line of inhaled product testing equipment at its digital table, Copley Scientific also plans to use the exhibition to promote a new educational opportunity for OINDP specialists. The new series of “Quick-Guide” webinars, intended “to help support the inhaled product testing community during this unprecedented time,” will be led by Business Development Manager Anna Sipatanou and will cover the basics of various topics, including MDI, DPI and nebulizer testing.
“Topics on the agenda for the initial MDI webinar include regulatory in vitro testing requirements, common issues encountered in testing and troubleshooting. All the webinars will be around an hour long and conclude with time for questions. There’s no charge to attend so I’m hoping plenty of people will take the opportunity to advance their learning and understanding,” Sipatanou says.
Other companies participating in the digital exhibition include:
Capsugel
Intertek Melbourn
Nanopharm
Nemera
Next Breath
Recipharm
