Organizers for the Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL) meetings say that they are provisionally moving ahead with DDL 2020, scheduled for December 9-11 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, and they have issued a call for papers and award entries.
The organizers say, “Whilst we are very conscious of the ever changing situation around the world concerning COVID-19, at this point in time we are planning to continue with the DDL2020 conference as usual in December at the EICC. . . . We will of course keep you updated should anything change over the coming weeks and months.”
The deadline for submissions for the DDL Emerging Scientist Award is June 30, 2020, and the deadline for entries for the Pat Burnell Young Investigator Award is July 17, 2020. Session themes for DDL 2020 are:
- Sustainability: looking at current initiatives and beyond to early ideas/concepts that could potentially have an impact for our industry
- Artificial Intelligence in drug development

- Nasal drug delivery
