Nanoform has announced the appointment of former GSK Particle Size Reduction Lead David Rowe as Head of Manufacturing. In December 2018, the Finnish nanotechnology company announced the construction of a new GMP manufacturing facility in Helsinki.
Rowe is the latest in a series of new hires by Nanoform over the past few months, including former Hovione Business Development Manager Gonçalo Rebelo de Andrade as Chief of Business Operations, Niklas Sandler as Chief Technology Officer, and Miguel Calado as Vice Chairman of the Board.
Nanoform CEO Edward Hæggström commented, “It gives me great pleasure to welcome David as a Director of the company and part of the senior leadership team. His deep knowledge of particle engineering platforms and experience with industrial scale production will be extremely valuable as we continue to expand our manufacturing capacity.”
David Rowe said: “I am thrilled to be joining Nanoform. The company’s technical and academic pedigree is outstanding and has led to the development of a ground-breaking nanonization technology. I anticipate exciting times ahead and look forward to working with our partners to deliver innovative API physical properties that will benefit patients worldwide.”
