As in the past, RDD Europe 2019 also includes the popular workshop session coordinated by diamond sponsor Aptar Pharma, which offers attendees the chance to select 3 out of 12 60-minute workshops offered by various companies.
Carolyn Penot of Aptar Pharma says that the workshops “are a great opportunity for focused scientific and technical discussions thanks to small-scaled interactive groups. Workshops are greatly valued by attendees and we always get very positive feedback from delegates including how they encourage participant interaction though brainstorming, and fruitful idea generation amongst delegates.” (Read more about the workshops here)
Penot adds that the value in “creating the right networking environment that helps attendees share insights and present their latest research during the interactive sessions” is one of the key reasons that Aptar Pharma sponsors the meeting and as usual, RDD Europe offers numerous networking opportunities in addition to the formal sessions. Opportunities for informal networking include a welcome cocktail reception on the evening of May 7, a gala dinner on the evening of May 9, and lunches in the exhibition hall.
The Estoril Congress Center has spaces large enough to hold all of the exhibitors, posters, and food stations in the same room. Organizers say that there will be approximately 60 posters and at least that many exhibitors. They say that they will try to accommodate as many companies who wish to exhibit as possible, but potential exhibitors are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible to ensure a place
