Finnish nanotechnology company Nanoform has named Gonçalo Rebelo de Andrade, former Hovione Business Development Manager for inhalation and respiratory product development, as Chief of Business Operations. The company recently announced that it is building a new 600m2 GMP manufacturing facility in Helsinki.
Andrade also served as Managing Director of Hovione Capital and as a senior advisor in business development for Senzer, which is developing inhaled cannabinoid products based on its breath-activated inhaler platform. He has served on the boards of several life sciences companies, including SolasCure, Adapttech, and Performetric.
Nanoform CEO Edward Hæggström commented, “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Gonçalo to Nanoform. His background and experience in drug delivery will be a huge asset to the company. He will play a key role in the international expansion of the business, and I look forward to working with him to deliver this growth.”
