In the academic poster category, the winner was Precious Akhuemokhan of King’s College London for her poster titled, “Developing Alternative Models for In Vitro Investigation of Excipient Influence on Drug Transport.” The industrial poster prize was awarded to Frans Franek of AstraZeneca for his poster on “Ranking In Vitro Dissolution of Orally Inhaled Drug Substance Powders in a Time-Efficient Manner.”

Copley Scientific was handing out copies of the 2019 edition of its “Quality Solutions for Inhaler Testing,” which, in addition to information about the company’s products, serves as a useful reference with practical advice on testing all types of OINDPs.
