US grocer Albertsons will begin selling Lupin’s InspiraChamber antistatic valved holding chamber exclusively in more than 1,700 pharmacies in 35 US states, Lupin has announced.
The InspiraChamber spacer can be used with one of several pediatric face masks, including the SootherMask, which includes an opening for a child’s pacifier. Lupin licensed the product from InspiriRX and launched InspiraChamber in the US in 2015.
Lupin President Paul McGarty commented, “Our partnership with Albertsons Companies is one of many initiatives Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is taking to provide better access to the only valved holding chamber with a pacifier-ready mask that enhances the delivery of aerosol therapy. We continually strive to combine the latest technology with an ease of use design for patients and we’re excited to be able to offer it to Albertsons Companies patients.”
Albertsons Companies Group VP, Pharmacy Services Dan Salemi said, “We’re excited to partner with Lupin to provide this tool to our patients. We see our relationship with Lupin as a way to bring innovative, high-quality products that are easy to use and proven in managing health conditions to our shoppers. Making InspiraChamber our preferred chamber is another way to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to the highest level of patient care.”
