Norwegian CDMO Curida, which offers a wide range of analytical, development, and manufacturing services for OINDPs, has announced a new strategic partnership with pharmAccel Consulting Director René Bommer. In July 2015, Curida acquired a nasal spray manufacturing facility in Elverum, Norway from Takeda, and the company cites Bommer’s expertise in nasal spray development as a major reason for the collaboration.
Curida Sales Director Morten Steinvåg commented, “We are very happy and proud to having Mr. Bommer joining our team. His knowledge and experience within this complex field is impressive. I have already had the fortune to work with him on a project and his blend of technical in-depth knowledge coupled with a commercial mind-set is quite rare and a strong asset.”
Bommer said, “Curida’s holistic business approach to consider the unity of product content and delivery device in the development and in the further manufacturing process puts them into a leading position in the pharmaceutical industry. I am delighted to cooperate with such well-focused company and to contribute actively to the business success of Curida.”
