Novel Laboratories, Inc. is a fast growing specialty pharmaceutical products development and manufacturing company located in New Jersey. We are looking for experienced, senior level scientists/formulators/engineers for the development of Metered Dose Inhalers, Nasal Sprays and other inhalation products.
Experience:
• Three or more years’ of experience in pressurized Metered Dose Inhalers (pMDIs) and/ or Nasal Sprays in formulation and in vitro analytical testing.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience in the formulation of both solution and suspension MDIs and Nasal Sprays.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience in using the in-vitro testing equipment (spray pattern, spray area, plume geometry, droplet size, cascade impactors, DUSA, etc.).
• Knowledge and experience with devices used for pMDIs and Nasal Sprays (valves, actuators, dose counters, cans, spray pumps, etc.), APIs and excipients.
• Thorough knowledge of FDA guidances and regulatory requirements related to MDIs, DPIs, Nebulizers and Nasal Sprays.
• Experience with pilot plant for the manufacture of MDIs and Nasal Sprays in a pharmaceutical cGMP environment.
Qualifications:
• Masters or Ph.D. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or pharmaceutical sciences.
• Motivated self-starters, able to take leadership role to get things done in a fast-growing pharmaceutical company.
• Compensation starts with qualifications and experience. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.
