Powder characterization specialist Freeman Technology has reached an agreement with distribution partner DKSH to expand into China. DKSH already distributes Freeman’s FT4 Powder Rheometer in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan and will now distribute the universal powder tester from DKSH China headquarters in Shanghai and other locations in China.
Freeman Technology Managing Director Tim Freeman commented, “Our business in Asia continues to grow and moving into China is an exciting development for Freeman Technology. I am delighted to confirm that we are partnering with DKSH to serve this hugely important market and together we have already installed an FT4 Powder Rheometer at the East China University of Science & Technology in Shanghai.”
The company also formally announced that it hired Nishil Malde in June 2012 as General Manager, Asia Pacific, and that Xiaowei Fu, Material Scientist and Product Manager for China, is moving to Shanghai to support the establishment of the FT4 powder rheometer there after five years in the company’s UK facility.
