OINDP researchers with a particular interest in powder flow and rheology should take note that poster abstract submission and early registration for Powder Flow 2011 end on November 4. The meeting is organized by the Formulation Science and Technology Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Many of the members of the organizing committee have connections to the OINDP community, including Philippe Rogueda, a founder of the conference in 2009. Other inhalation specialists among the organizers are Tim Freeman of Freeman Technology and Jag Shur and Rob Price of the University of Bath.
The meeting will take place on December 6, 2011 at the Royal Institute of British Architects in London, UK. Themes for the 2011 meeting include control of powder flow, regulation, and modification. According to Rogueda, the organizers expect 130 powder specialists to attend the conference; “It will provide a forum for idea sharing and B2B networking,” he points out.
